Zeph Caissie started dancing at the age of four with the Tony Comerford School of Irish Dance in Vancouver. He competed and performed locally and internationally with the school until the age of 21. That year after placing 2nd in the Great Britain and All Ireland Championships and 4th in the World Championships, he signed a contract with Riverdance The Show, and went on to tour with the company for 8 years. A few highlights included performances in Radio City Music Hall, the Kremlin, the Great People's Hall in China, and the Palaise Omnisport in Paris. Upon leaving the show, Zeph choreographed and performed solo pieces with Ballet de Printmeps, and Lunasa. He moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia and started his own dance school, Diaga Irish Dance, in 2010. The school has 35 full time dancers from ages 4 to 25.

The Diaga Irish Dance Performance Group is comprised of girls aged 14 to 25 who have achieved a high standard in competitive Irish Dancing. The dancers are comprised of students who have switched to Diaga from other schools, former dancers who have come back to perform, or dancers from out of town who are attending University in Halifax. Their passion for Irish dance is what unites them.
