Gervais has been performing since his teens. Mostly in a supportive role, he has played bass and/or rhythm guitar for many local bands. In the late 1990’s, he played with J.P. Cormier for several years, then moved on to playing bass for Brakin’ Tradition. Upon their breakup, he continued on with Cyril MacPhee and they recorded a CD together. He has been writing music since a young age and has had music recorded by J.P. Cormier, and also the New Brunswick group 1755. Several other pieces have been recorded locally as part of the local radio station CKJM fundraisers. Future plans are to continue writing and to finish many partial works that have been kicking around for a while.
