Jamie has remained at the top of the list of ‘first call’ players in eastern Canada for over 15 years. As a multi-styled, multi-instrumentalist musician/sideman, Jamie has and continues to work alongside many of the highest profile artists in the region – Jimmy Rankin, The Rankin Family, Gordie Sampson, George Canyon, Lennie Gallant, Bruce Guthro, Damhnait Doyle, Dave Gunning, Christina Martin, Symphony Nova Scotia and dozens more.

In addition to his work as a sideman, Jamie is also highly sought after for his musical direction and band leading skills. This has led to countless calls for television, radio and live engagements including several years as musical director and house-band leader for the nationally televised East Coast Music Awards, musical director for the Canada Winter Games opening and closing ceremonies, and musical director for ‘Come On In’ – Atlantic Canada’s musical contribution to the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia.

As a producer, Jamie is perhaps best known for his work with multiple awardwinning singer/songwriter Dave Gunning, having produced six of his recordings, including his latest, ‘No More Pennies’. In 2011, Jamie produced the latest release by Raylene Rankin. Jamie is also a prolific songwriter having written with and/or for such artists as Jimmy Rankin, Patricia Conroy, Gordie Sampson, George Canyon, Small Town Pistols (Amanda and Tyler Wilkinson), Melissa Rae Barrie, Jason McCoy, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Dave Gunning, Carleton Stone and many others.
