A Touch of the Irish

Tuesday October 14th

Riverdale Community Centre, Lower River Inhabitants – 7:30 PM, Tickets: $30/25, Reserved Seating

For a genuine touch of the Irish, look no further than the blazing new Irish group We Banjo 3. As their name suggests, there are a good bunch of banjos on stage, but with this multi-talented group you’ll get more than just that. And with a lively beat to boot. Qristina and Quinn Bachand have had many influences, including a cross collaboration with the Cape Breton Fiddlers Association, which resulted in the pair including Cape Breton tunes on their recordings. Fiddler Lisa MacArthur comes from Newfoundland’s Codroy Valley. Lisa's love for Cape Breton, Scottish and Irish music shines through in her abilities with the fiddle and as a stepdancer. Lisa has spent a lot of time in Cape Breton and will be accompanied by Paul MacDonald on guitar and Mario Colosimo on piano.
