A Touch of the Irish – SOLD OUT

Tuesday October 15th

Riverdale Community Centre, Lower River Inhabitants – 7:30 PM, Tickets: $30/25, Reserved Seating

Most everyone brags at least a touch of Irish in their blood and tonight there’ll be no doubt. Dublin-born John Doyle's influence on Irish style guitar accompaniment is rivaled by his knack for writing songs that sound as if they've been around for centuries. Irish American fiddler Liz Carroll, whose ancestry will be put to good use tonight, will be appearing with a trio, as will Nuala Kennedy from Dundalk, Ireland who is with Norway's Snowflake Trio. Mary Jane Lamond and Wendy MacIsaac's traditional tunes and Gaelic songs seem to defy all of the boundaries so they will be right at home in this company.
