This year's Guitar Summit welcomes back some old friends and introduces a new one. Fans of guitar-playing in Cape Breton are very well-acquainted with J.P. and Dave who have shared the Summit stage eight times. Artist in Residence John Doyle, whose Irish guitar accompaniment set a new standard for the instrument, returns for his fourth go around the guitar circle. Nova Scotia's Ray Legere may be new to the Summit, but his long list of bluegrass picking awards have us all excited for what will happen on that stage tonight.
