Thursday October 16th
Judique Community Centre, Judique – 7:30 PM, Tickets: $35/30, Reserved Seating
The Summit is an annual ritual at Celtic Colours. It’s always exciting and always unpredictable regardless of who’s on the bill. Tonight there’s a great mix of generations and styles. J.P. Cormier tends to be a regular and provides the glue that brings it all together. His virtuoso instrumental skills and poignant songs have won him numerous awards. Tonight he’ll be in good company with Tony McManus, the Scottish acoustic guitarist whose intricate ornamentation created his reputation as the leading guitarist in Celtic music. Two old friends, Dave MacIsaac and Scott Macmillan will delight in bouncing tunes off each other as they have done over more than 30 years. The younger generation will be well represented by J.J. Chaisson from Prince Edward Island and Quinn Bachand from British Columbia. Don’t miss it !
