Kimberley Fraser came to us last year with an exciting collaboration as part of her Artist in Residency that included players she met in Boston while studying music at Berklee. We’ve reunited the foursome for tonight’s concert. Fiddler Alasdair Fraser found his match in cellist Natalie Haas several years ago and they set out to reunite the traditionally linked instruments. Many years ago, in the early days of Celtic Colours, Alasdair brought another great match to the stage in guitarist Tony McManus. Tonight will be a chance for these musical friends to reconnect, a rare treat with two very busy traveling musicians. Tonight’s concert also welcomes singer-songwriter Laura Smith to the festival. She will feature her lovely songs accompanied by Tony. It’s a night to remember as Laura melts your heart, Tony blows your mind, Kimberley’s Quartet thrills your senses and Alasdair and Natalie leave you longing for more.
