Monday October 8th
Christmas Island Fire Hall, Christmas Island – 2:00 PM, Tickets: $20, General Admission
As a result of years of effort in homes, communities and organizations, Gaelic is on the rebound in Cape Breton. Today in Christmas Island, where the work has been consistent and strong, we see the evidence. Three generations of Gaelic singers will be performing in this concert as students from the Core Gaelic Program in two schools join with their elders for an afternoon of Gaelic song, tunes and dance. If you’ve ever been to a milling frolic, this one will warm your heart like none before.
