Just as islands are shaped by the sea, there’s something about living on an island that shapes our vision. This year's Artists in Residence are both songwriters from islands, and that has had profound influence on their craft. Tonight is all about songs... songs from Ireland, Scotland and our own Island home; songs of the sea and songs that honour the tradition of writing about sense of place and its influence on our lives. Join John and Cyril, the songwriters, and our much-loved Cape Breton Chorale.
