Taste of the Festival

Saturday October 6th

Joan Harriss Cruise Pavilion, Sydney – 7:30 PM, Tickets: $40/35/30, Reserved Seating

With high-impact, high-energy bands from Shetland, Ireland and Cape Breton; songs from home and away; and award-winning local dancers, this concert has a bit of everything. We've waited years to experience the amazing Fiddlers' Bid from Shetland. We'll introduce Artists in Residence John Doyle and Cyril MacPhee and also welcome home Cheticamp native pianist Rachel Aucoin and her accordion-playing husband Sabin Jacques. Come to think of it, this actually looks more like a feast than a taste.

If you're looking for some excitement after the show join us at the Sydney Curling Club at 10:30PM for Late Night on the Town.

My wife and I are celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary this fall. As a gift to ourselves, we are spending some time in Nova Scotia and hope to see/hear the Celtic Colours Festival a Taste of the Festival, Saturday October 6th.
We are flying from our home in Grande Prairie Sept 24 to Halifax and spending October 4, 5, 6 and 7 in Sydney at the Joan Harriss Cruise Pavilion.
