Ever since the Teetotallers got together by luck of the draw at a festival in 2010, they have captivated followers of Irish and roots music wherever they played. The Teetotallers--John Doyle, Martin Hayes, and Kevin Crawford--have come all the way from Ireland to swap tunes with Cape Bretoners Mairi Rankin (fiddle), Mac Morin (piano) and Matt MacIsaac (pipes), and to share songs with the Prairie boys from Dry Bones--Nathan Rogers, Leonard Podolak, JD Edwards and Gilles Fournier. It’ll take a strong cup of tea indeed to stand up to such a formidable collection of performers.
