This lovely afternoon event along the Cabot Trail in Barrachois, Indian Brook region, features lunch and music over the noon hour, followed by a hike at 1pm. Members of the church will offer a variety of soups (including a vegetarian option), rolls, biscuits, desserts, and tea or coffee. Adjacent to the church is the Red Island Trail where we’re offering a guided hike over a moderately demanding trail. This 90 minute hike leads through woodland alongside three bodies of water: the Barrachois River, MacDonald Son, and St. Ann’s Bay. Well-fitted footwear is required and walking sticks can be helpful.
