Scotsville School of Crafts – 2334 Strathlorne-Scotsville, ScotsvilleHosted by: Lake Ainslie Weavers & Craft Guild
Bobbin lace takes its name from the way it is made: on a firm pillow to which a pricked-out
pattern is tacked and each twist of the wooden bobbins is held in place by a pin. It is interesting to watch. Drop in to see artist Suzanne Craig as she hand weaves lace using this centuries-old technique.
